Lions' home events free for Local Lion Promise families
For the remainder of the fall semester, Mars Hill University will welcome Local Lion Promise families to all home athletic events for free.
MARS HILL, N.C. - For the remainder of the fall semester, Mars Hill University will welcome Local Lion Promise families to all home athletic events for free.
The offer will be in effect until the end of the fall semester, concluding with the home basketball doubleheader versus Emory & Henry on Saturday, December 14, beginning at 2 p.m.
MHU's commitment to area students runs deep. The Local Lion Promise scholarship guarantees a minimum of a 50 percent discount on tuition to traditional undergraduate students who live or attend high school in the counties closest to the MHU campus.
The following western North Carolina counties have been recognized as being closest to Mars Hill University's campus, and students receive a minimum 50 percent discount on tuition.
