Mattox Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
GREENWOOD, IND. – Mars Hill University football senior defensive back Carl Mattox has been named to the 2016 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team as announced on Thursday, Nov. 3.

GREENWOOD, IND. – Mars Hill University football senior defensive back Carl Mattox has been named to the 2016 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team as announced on Thursday, Nov. 3.
The Athens, Ga. native was named Academic All-District for the second consecutive year after posting a 3.76 overall grade point average. The Business major was one-of-three athletes to represent the South Atlantic Conference.
Mattox is now eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-American consideration, which will be announced in early December.
