Farman wins both matches in 2018-19 season opener
The Mars Hill men's tennis team (0-1) opened their 2018-19 season with a 4-3 loss against North Greenville (1-0) Wednesday afternoon. Tom Farman earned a singles win and doubles victory with partner Pedro Pinassi.
TIGERVILLE, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team (0-1) opened their 2018-19 season with a 4-3 loss against North Greenville (1-0) Wednesday afternoon. Tom Farman earned a singles win and doubles victory with partner Pedro Pinassi.
Ben Reid and Fernando Neto each picked up singles victories. Reid took down Pierre Bedard 6-2, 7-5 and, after dropping the first set, Neto won due to retirement before the second set began.
The Lions open up their home schedule on Saturday, September 22 when they take on UVa-Wise at the Hart Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
