Lions Finish in 11th at Food Lion SAC Championship
The Mars Hill women’s golf team finished in 11th place at the 2014 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Championship.
SEVIERVILLE, TENN. - The Mars Hill women's golf team finished in 11th place at the 2014 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Championship.
Senior Jacqueline McCormick finished in a tie for 14th in her final collegiate tournament. McCormick shot a three-day 253, one stroke out of a four-way tie for 10th place. McCormick's final round was an 85, one stroke better than yesterday's total.
Wingate won the tournament with a 54-hole team score of 996, with Coker finishing in second place. The Bulldogs also had the top individual player as Johanna Neumann won by seven strokes over Catawba's Madison Kennedy.
