Mars Hill places 12th at SAC Championships
The Mars Hill women's golf team placed 12th at the conclusion of the South Atlantic Conference Championships Tuesday afternoon.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf team placed 12th at the conclusion of the South Atlantic Conference Championships Tuesday afternoon.
The Lions shot a combined 1029 over the three days (343, 344, 342).
Jalen Castle was the top placing Lion, finishing 27th overall. Her best round was in round three, shooting a 76 on Tuesday afternoon.
Chelsea Baker placed 49th overall with her two best rounds being the first and second, shooting an 83 both days. Placing 60th overall was Laycee Hoffman and finishing two strokes behind was Leah Matney, ending the tournament 61st overall.
Rounding out the Lions group was Leann Crotts, placing 63rd overall.
