Gregg Munn has been hired as the new Head Men's Soccer Coach at Mars Hill University, Athletic Director David Riggins announced today.
Riggins stated, "I do not have to welcome Gregg Munn to Mars Hill since he is a MHU graduate and was a stellar soccer player for the Lions. He brings a great deal of knowledge regarding Mars Hill and that knowledge combined with his competitive nature bodes well for our men's soccer program."
Munn, a native of Falkirk, Scotland, was a former standout and captain at Mars Hill University. In his four years as a student athlete at Mars Hill, Munn started 75 games and played an integral part in the program's two NCAA National Tournament Appearances (2011 & 2012) and the program's South Atlantic Conference Championship in 2012. I would like to thank President Dan Lunsford and Director of Athletics David Riggins for this opportunity. The school holds so many great memories for my wife and I, we are excited for what lies ahead, and I look forward to leading the program."
