Lions compete at Gordon Bocock Invitational

The Mars Hill women's outdoor track & field competed at the Gordon Bocock Cumberlands Invitational and Distance Festival over the weekend.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - The Mars Hill women's outdoor track & field competed at the Gordon Bocock Cumberlands Invitational and Distance Festival over the weekend.

Alina Mueller and Keagan Osika competed in the Heptathlon, an event that takes place over a two-day period. Day one consisted of the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, and the 200m sprint. Day two events consisted of long jump, javelin, and the 800m run.

Mueller placed 5th overall out of 19 competitors with a combined score of 3,663pts.

Osika placed 13th overall in her first ever Heptathlon with a combined score of 2,870pts.
