Mars Hill announces 2020 recruiting class
The Mars Hill football team added 24 players to their 2020 roster after Wednesday's National Signing Day.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill football team added 25 players to their 2020 roster after Wednesday's National Signing Day.
The Lions, offensively, added three quarterbacks, three wide receivers, two running backs, an offensive lineman, and one tight end. On the defensive end, Mars Hill signed five defensive backs, three linebackers, and three defensive linemen. The Lions signed three kickers/punters as well as a long snapper.
Mars Hill added 11 players from the state of North Carolina and seven from Georgia. Rounding out their state breakdown, the Lions signed four from South Carolina, three players from both Florida, and one from Tennessee.
"I think we had a great year recruiting," head coach Tim Clifton stated. "We were able to take care of our needs on offense, defense, and special teams."
