Mars Hill senior wide receiver Craig Rucker spoke with WLOS about the upcoming NFL Draft
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Mars Hill senior wide receiver Craig Rucker recently spoke to Chris Womack of WLOS about the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft.
The Orlando, Florida native's sensational final season saw several records fall, both Mars Hill University and South Atlantic Conference standards. Rucker's 2019 season accomplishments include the following:
- 2019 AFCA First Team All-American ^
- 2019 SAC Offensive Player of the Year ^
- 2019 All-SAC First Team ^
- 2019 Harlon Hill nominee ^
- 2019 Don Hansen Second Team All-American
- SAC record holder in career receiving TDs (43), career receiving yards (4,320), and receiving touchdowns in one game (5). Also Mars Hill school records.
- Mars Hill record holder in most career receptions (294), most in a single season (97), most points scored in single game (30), touchdowns scored in one game (5), and all-purpose touchdowns in a regular season (19).
- 2nd in NCAA with 294 receptions and 4,320 receiving yards*
- 3rd in NCAA with 102.9 receiving yards per game*
- 4th in NCAA with 5,825 all-purpose yards*
