Snelson named D2CCA Second Team All-American
Mars Hill senior tight end Ty Snelson was named a Division II Conference Coaches Association (D2CCA) Second Team All-American, as released Wednesday morning.
WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Mars Hill senior tight end Ty Snelson was named a Division II Conference Coaches Association (D2CCA) Second Team All-American, as released Wednesday morning.
He was named an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) First Team All-American, as released Monday morning.
Snelson, a native of Hot Springs, North Carolina was named the SAC Offensive Player of the Year and an All-SAC First Team selection as well. Snelson racked up a career-high 587 all-purpose yards this season, with 427 yards receiving and a career-high 160 yards on the ground.
He was also named a D2CCA First Team All-Region selection.
