Lions sit in seventh after day two of Fall Frenzy
The Mars Hill men's swim team sits in seventh place heading into the final day of the Fall Frenzy.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team sits in seventh place heading into the final day of the Fall Frenzy.
The team of Harrison Butler, Elijah Sears, Gabriel Torrens and Vitor Goncalves placed eighth in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:34.86. Goncalves, along with Erwin Ortiz, Jake Moore and Brendon Cyprianos finished ninth in the 800 yard freestyle relay.
Ortiz placed fifth in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:41.37 and in the B-Final of the 100 yard breaststroke, Sears claimed first with a time of 57.31. The time was good for ninth overall.
Mars Hill closed out day two with 404 points, good for seventh overall.
