Lions Place Fifth at Sewanee Invitational
SEWANEE, TENN.-- Mars Hill's women's swim team placed fifth in the Sewanee Invitational, which concluded Saturday.
SEWANEE, TENN.-- Mars Hill's women's swim team placed fifth in the Sewanee Invitational, which concluded Saturday.
Lion swimmers totaled 388 points. The 100 and 200 Medley Relay teams each turned in fourth-place finishes for Mars Hill's best relay performances. Maggie Mills turned in the team's best individual performance with a third-place finish. Host school Sewanee finished first with an overall score of 840.

The 100 and 200 Medley Relay teams were made up of Rachel Louviaux, Lauren Davis, Elle Grier and Maggie Mills. The 100 Free Relay team, made up of Mills, Skyler Adolfi, Emma Duffy and Erin Cregan notched a fifth-place finish.
Mills placed third in the 100 Free with a time of 56.49. Mills also placed fifth in the 50 Free, seventh in the 200 Free and eighth in the 50 Breast.
Duffy turned in the Lions' other top-five finish, finishing fifth in the 1650 Free. She added a ninth-place finish in the 200 IM.
Louviaux placed sixth in the 50 Fly, seventh in the 50 Back and eighth in the 50 Free. Grier notched seventh place finishes in the 400 IM and 500 Free. Cregan finished seventh in the 200 back and ninth in the 100 Back. Davis added a sixth-place finish in the 100 Breast.
Mars Hill will swim in the Wingate Fall Frenzy, which begins Nov. 22.
