Lions close out home schedule versus Limestone
The Mars Hill women's tennis team (7-12, 2-9 SAC) was defeated 6-1 versus Limestone (9-8, 6-5 SAC) in their final home match of the 2023 season.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team (7-12, 2-9 SAC) was defeated 6-1 versus Limestone (9-8, 6-5 SAC) in their final home match of the 2023 season.
Limestone swept all three doubles courts, carrying the 1-0 edge into singles play. The Saints took four of five singles flights in straight sets to secure the win on the day.
Amanda Kadiri won the lone singles match for Mars Hill, taking the second flight in three sets, winning sets two and three.
At the end of the match, seniors Ines Rodriguez and Carli Stiles were recognized for their contributions to the program over their careers.
Mars Hill closes out the regular season on Monday, April 17 when they face Coker on the road. First serve is set for 1:30 p.m.
