Cuthbertson Earns Honorable Mention All-SAC Honors
Senior forward Isaiah Cuthbertson earned honorable mention All-South Atlantic Conference honors
ROCK HILL, S.C.- Senior forward Isaiah Cuthbertson earned honorable mention All-South Atlantic Conference honors, league officials announced this morning.
Cuthbertson was second on the team in scoring with an average of 11.8 points per game. He led the league with 103 offensive rebounds and was second with 235 total rebounds. Cuthbertson averaged 8.3 rebounds per game, which was third in the South Atlantic Conference.
On February 14 at Queens, Cuthbertson sank the game-winning layup with 0.3 seconds to play, giving the Lions a 74-73 victory. He scored 21 points in each of his final two games and finished the 2014-15 season with a 55.7 field goal percentage, which is eighth in the SAC.
Sophomore Valentine Bauer was the league statistical champion in Assist-to-Turnover Ratio at 2.76.
Lincoln Memorial guard Lorenza Ross was voted the 2014-15 South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year, while Catawba's Jerrin Morrison was voted the Conference's Freshman of the Year. In addition, Lincoln Memorial mentor Josh Schertz was tabbed the Coach of the Year.
