Mars Hill defeated by C-N, Emmanuel
Lions open 2025 slate on road at Carson-Newman.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's swim team was defeated by both Carson-Newman (129-73) and Emmanuel (121-81) Friday evening on the road.
Andres Bodington won the 1,650 yard freestyle with a time of 15:53.83, over 20 seconds faster than the second place finisher. He also claimed the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:41.91.
He finished third in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.68.
Juan Jose Moncada took the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:07.24. In the 100 yard backstroke, Jakub Szpaler won with a time of 50.48.
In the 50 yard freestyle, Evangelos Daniil finished third with a time of 21.93.

The Lions return to the pool on Saturday, January 18 when they face Lees-McRae and Roanoke at Harrogate, Tennessee. The meet is set for a 3 p.m. start.
