HICKORY, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team (2-7, 0-2 SAC) was felled by Lenoir-Rhyne (7-2, 2-0 SAC) Friday afternoon on the road.
The Bears carried the 1-0 edge into singles play, sweeping all three doubles contests. Mars Hill was unable to find their footing in the six singles matches, falling to Lenoir-Rhyne in their first contest in over two weeks.
Mars Hill returns to action on Wednesday, March 18 on the road at Anderson. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
