Lumley Named SAC Freshman of the Year
The South Atlantic Conference announced its yearly men’s golf award winners on Thursday, with Adam Lumley earning Freshman of the Year honors. Lumley was also an All-SAC Honorable Mention.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - The South Atlantic Conference announced its yearly men's golf award winners on Thursday, with Adam Lumley earning Freshman of the Year honors. Lumley was also an All-SAC Honorable Mention.
The Coventry, England native won the King University Invitational and the State Farm Intercollegiate in the fall and finished in the top 10 in two tournaments this spring, including a third place finish in the Roanoke Invitational last weekend. Lumley finished with a 74.59 adjusted scoring average.
Lincoln Memorial's Rand Wasson was named SAC Player of the Year. Lumley was joined on the All-SAC Honorable Mention team by Catawba's Tyler Rutherford and Matt Hardman, Tre Mullins of Lincoln Memorial and Christopher Fuga of Coker.
Mars Hill completes the 2013-14 season in the South Atlantic Conference Golf Championship at Sevierville Golf Club beginning on Sunday.
