Men's Swimming Drops Close Meet to Lenoir Rhyne
MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill men’s swimming team dropped a heartbreaking dual meet to Lenoir Rhyne on Friday, October 21.

MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill men's swimming team dropped a heartbreaking dual meet to Lenoir Rhyne on Friday, October 21. The Bears were able to capture a 132-130 victory in non-conference action.
Erwin Ortiz and Vitor Goncalves both posted multiple wins on the evening for the Lions. Ortiz captured the 200 and 500 free, while Goncalves posted wins in the 50 and 100 free. Both swimmers were on the 200 medley relay team, which also took home a victory. Matthew Walker tallied a win in the 1000 free.
The Lions will return to the pool on Saturday, October 29, traveling to Barboursville, Ky. to face Union and Urbana at 1 p.m.
