Lions trumped by Trojans in SAC play
The Mars Hill women's tennis team (8-12, 0-9 SAC) was defeated by Anderson (11-7, 3-5 SAC) Saturday afternoon at the Hart Tennis Complex.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team (8-12, 0-9 SAC) was defeated by Anderson (11-7, 3-5 SAC) Saturday afternoon at the Hart Tennis Complex.
In doubles action, Sophia Pelaez and Haley Steinkamp picked up a win over Hannah Weaver and Victoria Wuilloud, but the Lions were unable to secure another win and get the 1-0 advantage heading into singles action.
Mars Hill concludes the 2018-19 campaign against Coker on Friday, April 12th. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Hart Tennis Complex.
