The Mars Hill volleyball team (8-1) swept Converse (0-8) on Tuesday night in their home opener for their seventh straight win.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill volleyball team (8-1) swept Converse (0-8) on Tuesday night in their home opener for their seventh straight win.
The Lions' defense force the Valkyries into 11 attack errors in the first set and came away with the 25-9 set win. In the second set, the Lions' hit a game-high .302 as a team. The third set saw Mars Hill rally from down 20-17 to take eight of the next 11 points and complete the sweep.
