Gallup places second overall at Greensboro XC Invitational
The Mars Hill women's cross country team placed third overall at the Greensboro XC Invitational Saturday afternoon.
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's cross country team placed third overall at the Greensboro XC Invitational Saturday afternoon.
Haley Gallup placed second overall and first overall in Division II with a time of 19:45.12. Sydney Britt earned a top-10 finish, placing ninth with a time of 23:04.36.
Freshmen Megan Van Etten and Sage Shiflett placed 12th and 15th, respectively, in Division II turning in times of 23:44.40 and 24:24.00. Kylee Peck rounded out the top-15 while Hannah Jones placed 19th.

The Lions next race takes place on Saturday, October 5th when they partake in the Louisville Classic.
