Gallup named SAC Cross Country Runner of the Week
Mars Hill's Haley Gallup was named the Runner of the Week.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com)– The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week in meets competed in during the fourth week of the 2019 season. Mars Hill's Haley Gallup was named the Runner of the Week.
Gallup, a senior from Lockport, IL. competed in the Greensboro XC Invitational this past weekend, where she raced her way to a second-place finish overall and first overall in DII women's 5k with a time of 19:45.12. She also helped lead the Lions to a third-place team finish.
This is Gallup's first Runner of the Week honor for the 2019 season.
