Martin named SAC WePlayed Sports Offensive Player of the Week
Martin's impressive outing led the Lions to a 31-17 win over UVA Wise.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Senior quarterback JR Martin was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Football Offensive Player of the Week.
Martin, a native of Suwanee, Ga., completed 22-of-26 passes for Mars Hill in a 31-17 win over UVA Wise and hit on 84.6 percent of his passes. He threw for 311 yards and had a touchdown pass to go with a 197.8 efficiency. Additionally, Martin added 41 yards rushing and a touchdown to lead Mars Hill to the win.

Mars Hill hosts Emory & Henry in a pivotal SAC Mountain Division clash on Saturday, November 2. The final home game of the year is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
