Lions in Fourth at Anderson Invitational
ANDERSON, S.C.-- The Mars Hill men's golf team is in fourth place after the first round of the Anderson University Invitational, which was played Monday.
The Lions' team score of 297 was good enough for fourth in the nine-team competition. Freshman Chase Dembisky opened his collegiate golf career with a one under par 70. Dembisky is tied for third in the individual competition. Flagler College leads the team competition with 281, followed by Erskine with 294.
Sophomore Dylan Payne shot a one over par 72, followed by Seth Sayler's 75. Lucas Harper and Mason Light rounded out the scoring with rounds of 80 and 81.
Final round action is scheduled for Tuesday.
