Lions Place Eighth at Roanoke Invitational
ROANOKE, VA.-- Freshman Chase Dembisky fired a final round 73 to pace Mars Hill to an eighth-place finish in the Roanoke College Invitational, which concluded Sunday at the Roanoke Country Club.
Dembisky's two-day total of 150 (+8) earned him a fifth-place finish individually. The New Hampshire-native has posted a third-place and fifth-place finish in his last two outings. The Lions posted the lowest team score in round two.
Bluefield State took first overall with a score of 606. Rick O'Connell of Hampton-Sydney College won the individual title with a score of 146.
Mars Hill will compete in the South Atlantic Conference Championships in Sevierville, Tenn. The tournament begins Saturday, Apr. 13.
