ANDERSON, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's lacrosse team (2-12, 1-9 SAC) was defeated by Anderson (10-7, 8-2 SAC) by a score of 21-2 Saturday afternoon on the road.
The Trojans led 13-0 until the final two seconds of the half when Brooklyn Nemitz's goal broke the shutout bid with two seconds left in the half. Addison Hellwig picked up the assist on the goal.
Anderson continued to add to their lead, outscoring the Lions 5-0 in the third quarter. Just over two minutes into the fourth, Molly Salus converted a free position to score the Lions' second goal of the game.
Ava Scattareggia and Ellie Wilkins led all players with five points (3G, 2A). Nemitz led the Lions with one goal and two shots.
Mars Hill wraps up the 2025 season at home versus Limestone on Wednesday, April 23. First draw control is set for 7 p.m.
