Martinsen named preseason All-SAC First Team
Mars Hill junior forward Sanne Martinsen was named to the 2020-21 preseason All-South Atlantic Conference First Team, as announced by the league Wednesday morning.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill junior forward Sanne Martinsen was named to the 2020-21 preseason All-South Atlantic Conference First Team, as announced by the league Wednesday morning.
Martinsen led the Lions' offense last season with six goals and three assists for 15 points in 15 games. Her signature game came against Coker at home on September 29, 2019, where she recorded all four goals in the Lions' 4-1 victory over the Cobras. On Senior Day versus Tusculum, she collected two assists, one on the game-winning strike from Alyssa Deno.
The Skarnes, Norway native the year previous netted seven goals and one assist for 15 points in 15 games.
