Former WR Gore holds workout for Eagles
MARS HILL, N.C. - P.J. Gore held a pre-NFL draft workout for the Philadelphia Eagles this morning at Mars Hill.
Gore posted a time of 4.59 seconds in the 40 and ran routes during the session which lasted approximately an hour and a half.
"After all of the conditioning that I've done, I felt good this morning," Gore said.
The former Mars Hill football and basketball star, who last season became the first 1,000-plus yard receiver in school history, also participated in Pro Days at Coastal Carolina and Wake Forest during the last week and will spend the rest of the month preparing for the NFL Draft.
"I caught all of the balls that were thrown to me," Gore commented. "I'm still working and hoping to get drafted and catch on with a team."
The NFL Draft takes place April 28-30 in New York City.
