Lions fall in offensive shootout to Cobras

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's basketball team (1-3, 1-1 SAC) was defeated by Coker (1-3, 1-0 SAC) by a score of 102-82 Saturday night on the road.
Both teams shot over 50 percent from the floor with the Cobras converting on 63 percent of their shots to the Lions' 55 percent. The teams combined to go 22-of-45 from beyond the arc with Coker hitting 13 on the night.
Each team recorded 35 points from the bench with Jahnarious Snell netting 20 of Coker's. Rajuan Conner scored nine off the bench for Mars Hill.
Malcom Kennedy led all players with 25 points, hitting 7-of-9 three-pointers. Isayah Johnson led the Lions with 17 on the night.
