Johnson, Houge lead Lions to win over Coker

MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's basketball team (5-16, 5-13 SAC) defeated Coker (4-20, 4-17 SAC) by a score of 88-74 Saturday evening inside Chambers Gymnasium.
Isayah Johnson and Michael Houge had dominant games for the Lions, going a combined 22-of-26 from the floor with Johnson's 30 leading all players and setting a new career-high. Houge scored 21 and added eight rebounds and five assists. Isaiah Jones collected a game-high 12 rebounds and netted 15 points.
Demar Anderson led the Cobras with 24 points followed by Williams Onyeodi's 18 on the day.
Both teams shot 55 percent from the floor with the Lions hitting 38 percent of their three-point attempts. Mars Hill outrebounded Coker 35-22 while collecting 14 offensive rebounds.
