Lions in 11th Following Two Rounds of State Farm Intercollegiate
Mars Hill is 11th after the first two rounds; final round is Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m.
TAZEWELL, TENN. – The Mars Hill men's golf team is in 11th place following the first two rounds of the State Farm Intercollegiate held at Woodlake Golf Club.
Adam Lumley shot a 76 in the first round and a team-low 69 in the second round to put him in a seven player tie for 17th place with a 145. Francesc Llinas finished in a tie for 36th with a combined 149 after a 75 and 74. Chevy Hartzog shot a 76 and a 75 for a 151 and is tied for 47th. Alejandro Canizares shot a 79 and a 76 to finish in a tie for 58th with a 155. Nick Caruso finished with a pair of 84's to sit in 74th after two rounds.
Tusculum's Brad Hawkins finished with a 66 and 67 for a 133 and a two stroke lead over Lincoln Memorial's Sam Broadhurst. Lincoln Memorial has a two stroke lead over Carson-Newman with a 570.
The final round begins tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
