Butler earns SAC Second Team honors
Mars Hill's Harry Butler earned a spot on the 2018 South Atlantic Conference All-Conference Second Team, as announced by the league Friday afternoon.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill's Harry Butler earned a spot on the 2018 South Atlantic Conference All-Conference Second Team, as announced by the league Friday afternoon.
Butler has been a consistent performer for the Lions throughout the 2017-18 season. The sophomore from Chigwell, England has been the top finisher for the Lions in every tournament this year.
He was a medalist at three events as the top individual performer. Butler shot a second round best -3 for a final round score of 68 at the Queens University Invitational. He finished with a two-stroke lead, shooting -6 for the tournament. Butler followed up the win with a nine-hole playoff victory at the Bob Dibble Classic on September 26th. He claimed top honors at the Mars Hill Spring Invitational with a three-stroke lead over second place, as well as led the Lions to their lone team win of the season.
