MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - After the first round of the 2017 Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, the Mars Hill Lions men's golf team sits in 17 place. Harry Butler, two-time medalist this season, is tied for 30 after shooting a +3 on the afternoon.
Callum Ritchie is tied for 43 after putting together a first-round score of +5. Nicholas Boone, Luke Challis and Stephen Thomasson round out the quintet for the Lions with individual scores of +11, +13 and +15, respectively.
Round two will begin at 8:30 a.m. and wrap up the tournament tomorrow afternoon.
