Lions place ninth in SAC Championships
The Mars Hill men's golf team moved into ninth place on the final day of the South Atlantic Conference Championships on Tuesday afternoon.
ANDERSON, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's golf team moved into ninth place on the final day of the South Atlantic Conference Championships on Tuesday afternoon.
Harry Butler finished the tournament in fourth place with -2 overall score. He was three strokes off of the lead.
Luke Challis placed 23rd in the tournament, shooting +12 overall. Stephen Thomasson ended the three-day tournament shooting +16 for a 37th place finish.
Callum Ritchie and Nicholas Boone finished 51st and 53rd, respectively.
The Lions finished ninth with an overall score of +47. The team shot their lowest round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting 298 combined.
