Men's Swimming Wins Igloo Invite
Lions win their second invitational of the 2015-16 season
SEWANEE, TENN.- The Mars Hill men's swimming team won their second invitation meet of the season as they claimed the Igloo Invite in dominating fashion on Saturday. Mars Hill finished with 947 points, well ahead of Asbury in second place with 641.
Drew Rosser won the 50 Freestyle in a meet record 21.25 seconds, followed by Vitor Goncalves in 22.03 seconds. Grant Greenhill won the 100 Backstroke in 52.70 seconds, with Harrison Butler scoring a runner-up finish in 52.89 seconds. Trey Mason touched first in the 200 Freestyle with a meet record time of 1:43.42. David Hallberg was the winner in the 100 Butterfly (53.32).
MHU won the 200 Medley Relay (Butler, Rosser, Hallberg, Goncalves) in 1:38.03. The Lions turn to Goncalves, Ryan Martin, Mason and Rosser to win the 400 Freestyle relay in a meet record time of 3:10.54.
