Women's Tennis Falls to Newberry
MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill women’s tennis team dropped a conference match at the hands of Newberry College on Saturday, February 06 at the Hart Tennis Complex.
MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill women's tennis team dropped a conference match at the hands of Newberry College on Saturday, February 06 at the Hart Tennis Complex. The Lions fell by a score of 7-2, dropping their record to 3-4 on the season.
Jasha Geerdink was able to defeat Vanessa Ortiz in their singles match, 6-2 and 6-2. Lucy McLaurin and Jade Henke teamed up to defeat Elizabeth Williamson and Tara Lamers by the final set scores of 9-8 and 7-4.
