Women's Tennis Drops Tough Match to Carson-Newman

MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Carson-Newman on Saturday, April 02 at the Hart Tennis Complex. The Lions drop to 4-12 overall and 1-8 within the conference.

Samantha Echevarria won her singles match against Ali Harris 2-6, 6-4, 6-3, while Lucy McLaurin also pulled off a singles victory over Brooke Sanderson 6-3, 7-6.

McLaurin teamed up with Jasha Geerdink to bring home the only doubles win on the afternoon, defeating Jill Corsato and Patricia Guerreiro, 8-6.
