Mueller places fifth in Pentathlon at Bast-Cregger Invitational

ROANOKE, Va. - The Mars Hill women's indoor track & field team traveled with a light crew over the weekend to Roanoke College to compete in the Bast-Cregger Invitational.
Alina Mueller competed in the Pentathlon, which is comprised of five events – 60m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put, Long Jump, and the 800m run. Mueller placed fifth overall out of 12 competitors with a score of 2872. She established a new personal best in Long Jump with a jump of 4.95m (16' 3'').
Haley Eddinger competed in pole vault for the first time ever in her track career, placing sixth overall with a vault of 2.45m (8' 0.25").
The Lions return to action in the New Year, heading to JDL Fast Track on Saturday, January 13th to compete in the Mondo College Invitational.
