Corsini Named Appalachian Swimming Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week
Sophomore Ludovico Corsini has been named the Appalachian Swimming Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week, announced earlier this week by conference officials.
SOUTH EUCLID, OHIO – Sophomore Ludovico Corsini has been named the Appalachian Swimming Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week, announced earlier this week by conference officials.
Corsini set a new school record in the 100 Breaststroke, swimming to a time of 56.79 which placed him third overall and is the fifth fastest time among NCAA Division II swimmers this season. Corsini broke Drew Rosser's mark of 57.30, which was set at the conference championship meet last season.
In other individual events, Corsini swam in the 50 Freestyle (22.76) and the 100 Freestyle (51.56). His relay splits swimming Breaststroke include a 25.61 and 57.43 on the 200 and 400 Medley Relays, respectively. He currently ranks in the following events in the Appalachian Swimming Conference: 50 Freestyle (5th), 100 Freestyle (10th), 100 Breaststroke (1st).
