Corsini Sets School Record in 100 Breaststroke
Ludo Corsini set a new school record in the 100 Breaststroke at the Royal Invitational. The new record time is 56.07 seconds.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Ludovico Corsini set a new school record in the 100 Breaststroke at the Royal Invitational held in the Levine Center on the campus of Queens University on Friday.
Corsini finished in third place with a school record time of 56.07 seconds. During the preliminaries on Friday morning, Corsini touched with a time of 56.10. Last week at the Appalchian Swimming Conference championship meet, Corsini broke the previous 100 Breaststroke record with a new time of 56.58 seconds. Corsini finished just short of an NCAA "B"cut, as the time to reach was a 55.70.
David Hallberg swam a time trial in the 100 Butterfly, finishing with a time of 52.46 seconds.
The Royal Invitational concludes the 2014-15 season.
