Marshall named to Preseason All-SAC Second Team
Senior guard De'Ja Marshall was named to the preseason All-South Atlantic Conference Second Team, as announced by the league Wednesday morning.
MARS HILL, N.C. - Senior guard De'Ja Marshall was named to the preseason All-South Atlantic Conference Second Team, as announced by the league Wednesday morning.
Marshall, in her first season with the Lions, averaged 15.4 points per game, totaling 430 points during the 2019-20 season. Marshall started 27 of 28 games and averaged 30.7 minutes per contest.
The Chester, S.C. native led the team with 224 rebounds and was second on the team with 49 assists and 49 steals.
Marshall figured in double-digits in 23 contests last year including a career-high 31 point performance versus Carson-Newman on February 5. She also accumulated eight double-doubles on the year.
