Viscusi Selected as AstroTurf SAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C.- Senior Jessica Viscusi was named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, conference officials announced today. Viscusi wins Runner of the Week honors for the second time this season and in her career.
At the Charlotte Invitational last week, Viscusi finished second in the non-Division I field and fifth overall with a 6-kilometer time of 22:27.6. She was the top SAC and Southeast Region runner at the meet. Viscusi and her teammates shattered the previous school record for fastest average team time with a new mark of 24:01.2. The previous mark of 24:48 was set at the Furman Invitational on September 13.
Mars Hill returns to action on Saturday, October 11 at the Royals XC Challenge.
