Track And Field Impresses At Elon Invitational
ELON, N.C. – The Mars Hill men’s and women’s track and field teams had an impressive showing at the Phoenix Invitational on Saturday, April 23.
ELON, N.C. – The Mars Hill men's and women's track and field teams had an impressive showing at the Phoenix Invitational on Saturday, April 23.
Freshman Jordan Bair competed well in the pole vault category, bounding over a height of 10 feet while teammate Arriel Smith set a new personal best in the 400 meters with a stellar time of 60 seconds.
Sophomore Brandon Beard led the way for the men, finishing third in the 800 meter run with a personal best of 1:57.3, which is also the second-fastest time in Mars Hill University history.
The two teams will be back in action on Thursday, April 28 as they travel to take part in the Hillsdale Gina Relays.
