El, Harris named to All-SAC Teams
The duo led the Lions to the SAC Tournament for the first time in five seasons.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Sophomores Aaliyah El and Tateyoina Harris were named to All-South Atlantic Conference teams, as released by the league Monday afternoon.
El was a Second Team selection. She ended the regular season fourth in the conference in points per game, leading Mars Hill with 17.8 per game. She netted 497 points in the regular season, starting all 28 games. She led the team with 60 steals and was second with 149 rebounds and 70 assists. She netted a career-high 30 versus UVA Wise and scored 20+ points in 12 contests. She scored in double-digits in all but four games on the campaign.
Harris was selected to the Third Team. She averaged 9.8 rebounds per game, good for second in the SAC. She placed second on the team in points scored with 361, averaging 12.9 per game. Harris led the team with 273 rebounds and 65 blocks. Harris led the Lions with 15 double-doubles on the year.

Mars Hill, as the No. 6 seed in the SAC Tournament, will face the No. 3 seed Anderson Trojans on Wednesday, March 5 in SAC Quarterfinal action. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
