Miller named to preseason All-SAC First Team, MHU tabbed eighth
Sophomore forward Samantha Swinson was named to the All-SAC Second Team.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Senior goalkeeper Camryn Miller was selected to the preseason All-South Atlantic Conference First Team, as announced by the league Tuesday morning.
Miller helped backstop the Lions to their first SAC Tournament appearance since 2012, winning four games and making 78 saves. She posted career highs in goals against average (0.95), save percentage (.848), and shutouts (6).
Swinson, in her debut season, recorded one goal and one assist for three points. Her lone goal was the game-winning tally against Coker on the road on September 9th.
Mars Hill was selected eighth in the preseason coaches poll, recording 49 points.
