MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's soccer team (1-8-1, 0-5-1 SAC) hosted Lincoln Memorial (6-4-2, 4-2-2 SAC) at Meares Stadium in a competitive matchup that ended with Lincoln Memorial securing a 2-0 victory.
The first half saw Lincoln Memorial take control early, with Ryan Branson scoring the opening goal just 10 minutes in, putting the team ahead 1-0. Their aggressive approach resulted in a total of 27 shots, keeping Mars Hill's defense on high alert throughout the match.
