
Olivia Kincaid named Coach of the Year
Kincaid led the Lions to first Conference Carolinas tournament appearance and win as Lions went 8-3 on the year.
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Mars Hill head coach Olivia Kincaid was selected Conference Carolinas Coach of the year after guiding the Lions to a third-place regular season finish.
The Lions have qualified for the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships for the first time and own an overall record of 8-3 while going 6-2 in league meets.
Sophomore Zoey Franklin was named a First Team All-Conference selection. The top from Rome, Georgia was named Athlete of the Week earlier in the regular season.
The Lions take on nationally ranked (No. 14) Coker in the semifinals of the Championships on Saturday, April 5, hosted at King University in Bristol, Tennessee. The meet is set for a 3 p.m. start.
