Lions tabbed seventh in first week of NCAA regional rankings
The Mars Hill football team was tabbed seventh in the NCAA Super Region II regional rankings, released Monday afternoon.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Mars Hill football team was tabbed seventh in the NCAA Super Region II regional rankings, released Monday afternoon.
The Lions are currently 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the South Atlantic Conference. Mars Hill has won four straight games, outscoring their opponents by a total of 131-71. The Lions hold a 5-1 record inside Meares Stadium this season.
The Lions are one of three SAC schools in the rankings with Wingate ranking sixth and Newberry ranking eighth.
