MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill football team (2-1, 1-0 SAC) defeated UVA Wise (1-2, 0-1 SAC) by a score of 44-9 Saturday afternoon in their South Atlantic Conference opener inside Meares Stadium.
Mars Hill outgained the Cavaliers 441-267 on the day and closed out the contest on a 28-0 run. The Lion defense racked up six sacks and held UVA Wise to 29 rush yards on 29 carries.
