Snelson named SAC Offensive Player of the Week
Mars Hill tight end Ty Snelson was named the South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league Monday morning.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill tight end Ty Snelson was named the South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league Monday morning.
Snelson, a senior from Hot Springs, N.C., led the Lions to a 49-23 SAC win over Carson-Newman last week. He hauled in four catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 30.3 yards per catch in the win.
Snelson currently leads the SAC in touchdown receptions with nine, ranks fourth in yards per catch (16.4), eighth in yards (477), ninth in yards per game (53.0), and 10th in receptions with 29.
